Dinter Engineering was hired by GDA Engineering to provide electrical design and construction support services for the Ralph Wenz Airfield to provide new Airport Runway and Taxiway Lighting. The project in Pinedale, Wyoming included new runway and taxiway edge lighting systems with Light-Emitting Diode (LED) light fixtures, compensating for weather and temperature concerns; LED Runway Threshold Lights; LED Runway End Identification Lights (REIL), Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) Lights; windcones; pilot-controlled radio; LED taxiway and runway guidance signs; LED Runway Distance Remaining (RDR) signs; conduit, cable, and counterpoise design. This project also included upgrading the airfield lighting vault and regulators.
